Practical Video Evidence

Dear AS Level students,

This is where you will start to upload your own evidence through videos of your practical performances. You can see an example of Terence Carter’s footage from last year above this post. This is how I would like you to set the post out.

Here are some guidelines to uploading your own performance:

• You must do this by Friday 29th March
• You must clearly put your name and the sport as the title. For example, Oliver Scott: Sailing.
• You must describe your level of performance and where/how you have competed before. This must accompany your footage.
• Also, describe the video itself and where the footage was taken from.
• It is easier to upload your videos onto Vimeo first or another URL. Or you can simply select a file from your computer.
• Lastly, as it is AS-Level PE, you must show the CORE SKILLS of the sport individually in practices rather than footage of a fully competitive situation like Terence’s. If you only have competitive footage and it supports your level of performance then of course, you can also upload this as all evidence will support your grades.
